Express Road freight to Ireland

I am looking to send a roll-top desk to my nephew who will present it to auction next week. Given such short notice, I have posted here in hopes of finding a company who specializes in express road freight to Ireland. I specify road freight since I am located just outside of London, so it would be pointless to seek advise on air cargo from here to Ireland. The desk if about 4 ft by 2 ft by 4 ft and weighs about 60 pounds. If you will send me the information on how best to package this desk for shipment, I will be happy to have it ready for you to pickup. This desk really needs to be delivered on time. Can you guarantee delivery by a certain date? How much will you charge to for this shipment? Will my nephew have to sign for the shipment when it is delivered?
